Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney wishes Hargreaves luck

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney would have no qualms with Owen Hargreaves joining Manchester City for a stating he wishes the midfielder 'luck' and the former Red Devils man, who was released by the club over the summer could be on the verge of a move to Etihad Stadium as he is believed to be undergoing a medical.

Hargreaves was signed from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich for a lofty fee in May 2007 and the despite early good form his tenure was ultimately heavily disrupted by a succession of injuries for a 30-year-old has been proving his fitness for this summer and now it seems that United's city rivals are willing to take a punt on a Canadian born star, if fit, was regarded as world class and rooney knows Hargreaves well following their time at Old Trafford and the England ace would not begrudge him a move to a City having seen how hard he has worked to regain full fitness.

Worked hard for a rooney is been out for a couple of years now and he worked hard to try and get back, explained Rooney to Sports News and a lot of the time he was over in Germany or the States trying to get fit and We didn't really see much of him for he came back he came close to playing and he played one game and unfortunately he got another injury to his hamstring.
He is nice lad and he is a worked extremely hard to try and get back playing and the manager felt that he didn't want to keep hold of him and i wish him luck for the hopefully he gets back playing and when he's fully fit he's a great player for he is a different type of midfield player to what we have had in England and we all hope as England players and fans that he gets back to his best.
