Sion Appeal against Expulsion and The Swiss Club's Hearing To Be Heard Just Before Group Opener.

Uefa has confirmed Sion have appealed against their Europa League expulsion and the hearing will be held on 13th September and the Swiss side submitted an appeal late on Thursday night and the hearing is now due to be held the day before Celtic had planned to a fly to Spain.

The Bhoys who had been reinstated at Sion expense are scheduled to face a Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid in a group opener on 15th September and the Sion wrapped up a 3-1 play-off success over Celtic last month and were kicked out of the competition by Uefa after it was deemed of the fielded ineligible players.
