Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger is A Two Match Ban By Uefa & North London Club Has Also Been Fined 10,000 Euros (£8,742).

Arsene Wenger has been handed a two match ban by Uefa after being found guilty of breaching the terms of a previous Champions League sanction and the north London club has also been fined 10,000 euros (£8,742) for improper conduct by their officials and the Uefa statement for a "today's decision was taken in relation to the Arsenal manager not abiding by the decision of the control and disciplinary body."

Arsenal boss received the ban after he was found guilty of contacting the bench while serving a touchline ban during the 1st leg of Arsenal's tie against Udinese on Tuesday, 16 August and the arsenal will appeal against the ban will take effect immediately with Wenger set to sit in the stands on Wednesday during the 2nd leg of the Gunners group stage play off match against Italian side.

Gunners boss believed he had not done anything wrong after the club had told him he could pass messages to assistant Pat Rice via a coach during the 1st leg at Emirates Stadium. He was then told at half time that this was not allowed and Wenger said it was frustrating club had asked Uefa before the match for clarification of the rules and that he had stuck to them.

Real Madrid have appealed Jose ban

The Real boss was handed the punishment of his actions during the ill-tempered UEFA Champions League semi-final for a first leg against Barcelona at a Bernabeu and the Portuguese coach was sent to the stands for his reaction to a Pepe's dismissal and launched into a tirade against Barca during the post-match press conference.

He has already indicated his intention to a take his case for this Court of Arbitration for Sport, if necessary, but first his club have sought a rethink from Uefa.
A statement on a governing body's official website read: "Real Madrid have appealed against the disciplinary verdict handed down to Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho five-match touchline ban by the Uefa control and disciplinary body on May 6, and relating to the Uefa Champions League semi-final first leg between Real Madrid and Barcelona in Madrid on April 27.

Jose Mourinho appeal follows the sending by Uefa of a reasoned decision on June 6 and the date of the hearing will be communicated in due course."
